Event #16 - TC Takeover

This is an interesting event where alliances are supposed to fight each other to gain more points over the course of a week in Territory Space.

Here is a tip if an alliance doesn't want to move, drop a zone before the takeover starts and when they take it back it counts as an Offensive instead of a Defensive score. It costs materials this way, but an alliance collects a lot more points for the event.

Event #15 - Second Chances (Solo)

This is in reference to the TNG episode "Second Chances" where Will Riker is duplicated in a transporter accident, and his duplicate is stranded on a planet. They later meet each other.

To compete in this event requires a new strategy. This event requires Alliance Contributions (just like Unity), spending Federation/Independent credits or making Supply Runs.

WARNING: Federation or Independent credits must be spent on Officers to count for event.

Supply Runs are simply visiting the Event Store and cashing in 1* Isogen. The problem is, if you don't have a lot of 1* Isogen saved up, you will need to go mining. This is where the Meridian is a big help. Max pull is 100k 1* Isogen/h. This is difficult to maintain without maintaining several nodes on several upgraded Horizons. Territory space mining will be faster, but not everybody has access to territory mining nodes.

Event - Adventures of Riker

This is a general trivia quiz for true TNG fans.

Questions
1. What is the name of Riker’s duplicated self?
2. Which ship does Will Riker eventually accept captain?
3. On which ship did Will develop a technique to use a planet’s magnetic pole to confuse an enemy vessel’s sensors?
4. Which ship did Will Riker serve on immediately before the USS Enterprise?
5. Why did Tiker grow a beard?
6. Which crew mate did Will refer to as Imzadi?
7. Where was Will Riker born?
8. In which sport does Will duel his father?
9. Which piece of music did Riker find particularly challenging on trombone?
10. What secret project did Will Riker work on while serving on the USS Pegasus?

Events - Daily Schedule

The Daily Events operate on an 11 day cycle, that is predictable. Because of this, it is easy to save resources and score rather well on the Solo Leader Board (SLB) events. Some fo these events overlap, and players can double dip to complete the events quickly with a good reward.

The trick is to not spend resources until the appropriate event hits.

Event #14 - Unity (Solo)

This is a really easy event, but the name of the event and the fact that it is a Solo milestone while linked to an alliance is a contradiction (please don't take this one away Scoply).

So if you are LVL 20 or higher, there is no reason to not complete this event quickly while in an alliance. Member of the alliance can simply build a cheap ship, and scrap a LVL1 ship to send the help requests to their alliance. This allows for everyone in their alliance to complete this event quickly. Members can also go to the Alliance feed, and donate RSS to complete the event as well.

Even players that are waiting or stuck on research/buildings can knock this out easily.

Event #13 - Cosmic Cleanup (Solo)

This event runs on about a monthly basis, usually part of an arc, and yields Galaxy Tokens (Epic) that are redeems in the Event Store. This is one of the only places to get Blueprints for the Vidar, Sarcophagus and Franklin ships. This is also another way to get Discovery Spore Drive parts which is needed for completing Discovery Research as well as upgrading the Ship to improve Summoning Efficiency.

The points required to complete this Solo Milestone type event (SMS) varies based on the player level, but it is typically not difficult, and fits in nicely with the daily hostile hunt.

Below are the rewards in the Event Store. Blueprint redeems appear to be consistent, but the Battle Debris has a range of values that change depending of player level, and has a certain randomness on redeem.

Not all of these rewards show for all players, they must be a high enough level to see everything. With this even showing up multiple times a month, this appears to be the way to get the blueprints for ships like the Franklin and the ViDar if players did not get to play the arc when they were released.

I would not be surprised to eventually see the Meridian make it to this list

Event #11 - Separatist Hunt (Solo)

This is a special event that has been in the game for quite a while. These are some powerful ships in easily reachable systems, and if using the correct crews, a lot of damage can be done for an event.

This event is typically a SMS or a SLB type event over a few days.

*Notice: The the unique ship type of Explorers in Pareleon, so Pike/Moreau/Chen on a Battleship is very effective for this type of event.

Event #10 - Scrambled Communication

This is a really fun event, that requires a bit of knowledge of the game to solve, and at least 2 days if you don't have all of the material saved up. The biggest thing about this, READ THE CLUE, as they vary by level. The first 2 letters of the systems you need to visit to do something are in YOUR clue.

As you complete each part, you will collect a Spatial Coordinates Token, that yields officer shards for TOS Uhura. Have Fun.

#1, Separatist hunting in hinted system. See Event #11 for Separatist System Chart
#2, Refine 300 Biomaterial. If you don't have enough, grind swarms to finish daily goal
#3, Look at the hint closely, name might not be the first letters. See Discovery #2 for System Chart
#4, the speed ups used count for the points to complete milestone. 1 min = 1 point, 1 hour = 100 points.
    Buildings/Research/Ship Build/Ship Tier - Use Speed Ups (1point per minute/ 7200 = 5 days)
#5, hitting the bigger hostiles in system yields more points to complete faster.
See Discovery #2 for System Chart
#6 for LVL29s and below, Any armada should work. 30+ hit a scout ship, and open chest
For locating Scout ships, see General Gameplay #13 - Scout Ships

Event #9 - Military Supremacy (Solo)

This is an event that not all players will see, as it seems to be based off of some odd factors.

Event #8 - Borg Officers (Alliance)

1. Gain Shards - this is through Ultra Recruit Tokens or the Key Tokens that can be purchased or part of Borg event rewards.
2. Promote Officers - self explanatory
3. Kill Borg Probes - you get 1 point for alliance event for each probe, regardless of strength. But if you use a BORG office as Captain, you get an additional 5 points for a total of 6. Now the best crew and system for Borg Probes is L29 (Pike, Moreau, TLaan), but you can grind lots of 25's with One of Ten as captain.

This is not the most efficient way to get probes, but to compete as an alliance, its recommended that each member use ONE transwarp coil each day and use One of Ten and farm some 25's to help the alliance. A more appropriate Borg officer when you get them will also work.

Event #7 - Crucible of War (Alliance)

Be sure to score points early, and often to max out the event with the alliance.

Event #6 - Faction Hunt (Alliance)

Faction Event - This is one of the easiest and best ways to gain personally and for the alliance. There is really no reason that every member cannot finish this event. Simply kill faction hostiles to get tons of officer XP, ultra recruit tokens, faction tokens. This event is sometimes used for an event to collect points towards the Battle Pass.

1. Kill faction hostiles - as low as Level 18, but be smart an kill in conjunction with your faction dailies!
2. Tier up Faction Ships - if you can, great, but don't overextend yourself if you don't have the resources, parts, etc.

Save your Officer XP collected in this event for future events like Domination.

Event #5 - Battle for Glory (Alliance)

Every member must complete their quota to win this event. If members go beyond thier quota, it doesn't do anything for the alliance.

Do not go after ships that are higher than the evnet requirnment unless you are combining event with daily goals.

Events #4 - Mega Mining (Alliance)

After this event, there is usually a Bonus Refinery that opens, making everybody scramble for their needed G3 material. Stockpiling between these events can help you maximize the Bonus if it becomes available.

Look around at different systems, as the higher level systems will have higher mining base rates on the nodes.

Events #3 - Domination (Alliance)

Pay attention to the length of the Alliance Leaderboard, as this event is typically a 2 day event, so you will need some RSS for the 2nd half of the event.

Event #2 - Latinum Mining (Alliance)

Latinum Monday’s have become a common occurrence, but there is a bit of strategy to hit the top rewards. Preloading RSS is a great start, but switching to 3* during the event is more efficient for non-D’Vor ships.

Events #1 - Data Mining (Alliance)

Data Mining can be rather annoying for an event, because it takes a long time to reach the nodes even if base is close to Augment space. In addition, research makes data mining even faster, so you are hitting OPC sooner.

When competing in the Data Mining event, it is key to have a Botany Bay (BB) ship with maxed out ship XP because that affects the mining rates. Sometimes players will be willing to rotate a node with you instead of attacking. It is most beneficial if you can rotate your own node with a 2nd BB.

The leader boards are bracketed, so you will only see players within a few levels on the same board. Some other players didn't max Ship XP, others don't complete research. If you want to compete in this event, you will need to do both, and mine like crazy.

Gameplay-Strategy #11 - Events

Many different types of events to play, and save resources for. Its all about patience in this game.
Events can be found by tapping the icon on the top right of the screen.

Some events are over multiple days, but the start and end of events are always linked to the server time, so the start/end times is about 8AM PST. Multiple types of events, they are Alliance Leaderboard (ALB), Solo Leaderboard (SLB), Solo Milestone (SMS).
ALB events are won by active alliance members participating in the event to get points
SLB events are independent players and these events are typically bracketed (players in a group by level), and the higher participating players get better rewards
SMS events are individual player type with a max to the points and reward. These type of events are pretty common to see at least one per day.
