Augment #4: Data Mining Rates

Some systems have different sized noded and rates. If you dont want to Activly Mine, pick the most efficient system for the data type you need.

Augment #3: Augment Ships

Augment ships are Hijacked ships, they are not Faction ships, giving them a huge benefit that many overlook in the game. Not only can you exploit the battle triangle against faction ships, but you can also negate your opponents ship/officer abilities because an Augment ship is not a Faction Ship.

Augment #2: “Augment” Your Officers

Using the Augments can give you a big boost in officers by XP as well as some good officers for base cracking. Promoting Augment officers at top tiers is difficult but worth it. Independent credits are required, gathered at a rate of 50/day, which sacrifices the ability to redeem 2 recruit chests.

Augment #1: Basic Info

Khan is a great part of the game, and the key to getting him is to get reputation with his people called the Augments. These are the missions to get the Botany Bay ship, and to get to Augment Space.

Once in Augment Space, data will need to be mined and redeemed in the Faction Store to earn more reputation. Augment Credits are also purchased with data mined, and parts for the Botany Bay can be acquired as well as Augment Officers. As the Botany Bay is leveled up, it will be able to reach better mining nodes.
Hint: Use Cadet Scotty to improve warp range.

A LVL 19 will be able to get to Gealan (26) and Rona Tan (26) with their Botany Bay, but because they cannot get Common Plutonium from the Faction Store until LVL20, they cant upgrade the warp drive and tier up the ship. Once a player hits LVL20, a player can get the Common Plutonium, Tier Up the ship, and start mining in the Terazon-X31 (28) and Paradane (27) area for Decoded Data, which also redeems in the faction store.

Hint: Once hitting LVL20, Prioritize Joaquin to get faster Data Mining Rates, and start on Galaxy Research, as there is a Data Mining research node to improve that as well.
