Rogue #11 - Epic Muddmaddas

Epic 33s spawn occasionally in Delta or Gamma after destroying a 33 Uncommon or 33 Rare.

Rogue #10 - Armada Crew/Target Size

For some reason, running a Moral crew with Bones in the Captains chair is more effective against Muddmaddas than Kirk. This trick only works on Mudds. The effect of this is that the ships take less damage, Morale triggers more often, and more points restored to the shields. This makes the ships last longer in the fight.
As the Stella Research is completed, the ship becomes more powerful. The research to focus on is mitigation, so it lasts longer in a fight and bigger targets can be hit for better loot. Here is a chart showing what Muddmadda targets should be selected based on the Rogue research completed, specifically Stella Defenses, and which crews to use if that research is low or high.

Mitigation caps out at 71%, which is also why it is important to keep the shields up as long as possible as they take 80% of what was not mitigated. The remaining 20% goes to Hull Health.

Rogue #9 - Store Costs

(Updated 9-21-2020)

The values are Non-Prime values.

Rogue #8 - Rogue Warp Tokens

High Yield 3* Mining The base rates of a regular 3* node is 300/hr around the galaxy. The base rate of the special rogue 3* nodes is 450/hr. This means you should expect about 50% faster mining in these rogue systems, but your exact rate depends on your research, faction miner ship level, and crew of course but it’s not double like a high speed lat node. Plus there are only six nodes in these systems and everyone who hit scoundrel reputation has an easy time of getting to to these areas once a day. Temper your expectations for speedy mining with high OPC; people may hunt OPC there.

Rogue #7 - Stella Upgrade Costs Per Tier

Here is a handy chart to help compete in the events. Don't overspend the Uranium.

Don't scrap until maxing the XP of the tier. The sweet spot for advancement is Tier 5 (LVL25), as it yields more particles, but costs a but of Rare.

Rogue #6 - Stella Build/Upgrade Costs

The Stella should be easy to get to at least Tier 3, with 1 or 2 Uranium packs form the Rogue Faction store. Tier 4 should be easily achievable as well, which is a good point to scrap and rebuild for a good yield of Stella Particles (See Rogue #5 above).

Rogue #5 - Stella Ship

This ship specializes in gaining additional loot from the Eclipse Ships and Armada Targets.

It’s recommended to use the Stella against Eclipse Armadas for better reward yield:
Mudd-Mada loot = base loot (published by scanning) x (1+ [5/10 borg officer] bonus + stella bonus + highway robbery research level)

The main resource for the Stella to get upgraded components is Uranium. To go to Tier 2 for example, only Uranium is required (no other RSS). Uranium has a 3 day cool down timer between redeems in the Rogue Faction Store. Also, reputation with the Rogue faction changes the pricing for Uranium.
Abettor: 990 loot for 2630 UC Uranium
Trouble-Maker: 1110 loot for 5260 UC Uranium

Stella Particles are gained either by events or by scrapping the Stella in the scrapyard

It also presents a new way to play, build, fight, upgrade, scrap, research, build again.

Recommendation: Do not scrap Stella until leveled up to at least level 15 (Tier 3) for a more efficient reward.

NOTE: Stella Particle table on slide below is inaccurate after game updates, referance Rogue #7 for current Stella Particle Scrap Yield

Rogue #4 - Research Tree Split

Initially a choice will need to be made for which side of the research tree a player wants to complete. Current indications are that FTP (Free to Play) commanders can gain 1 Alpha Particle, 1 Beta Particle, and 1 Gamma without visiting the Store. There will be further opportunities to gain additional particles so the research tree can be completed later.

When players hit Scoundrel on Rogue Reputation, it unlocks the 2nd research section via a token, which gives another Alpha particle, allowing you to complete the other half of the alpha research without buying a pack.

Text will be updated as more information becomes available.

Rogue #3 - Exchange Armadas

COORDINATE SHIPS FIRST
Armadas have a 7 minute timer, so most wont get there in time without having the ship in the area. Have alliance members meet in Exchange Central, and move to chosen targets once armada starts.

Armada Strength Threshold to success::
Under 12M Uncommon: 15-20%
Under 12M Rare: 25-30%
12M+ Uncommon: 55-60%

Recommendation: Use the Stella against Eclipse Armadas for better reward yield:
Mudd-Mada loot = base loot (published by scanning) x (1+ [5/10 borg officer] bonus + stella bonus + highway robbery research level)

Stella ships will increase the yield, but may not be as strong as your other ships. Choose targets wisely.

UPDATE - Proven success using Moral Crews (Kirk/Spock/Decius):
4 Stellas of LVL10 and below against a LVL29 Target
4 Stellas of LVL15 (1.2M strength) against LVL31
5 Stellas of LVL15 (1.7M Strength) against LVL33, but some ships will die.

Rogue #2 - Faction Economy

Everything centers around credits looted from Armada Targets and grinding Eclipse trade ships for Security Codes. Alliance teamwork against armadas make components for upgrading the Stella accessible (unless bought from Scoply Sale).

It is possible to use the Rogue Faction without mining data, but everything will be accelerated by teaming them together using data for Armada Directives.

Just like in any other faction, the reputation you have with that faction changes what you can get from the Faction Store and the prices.

Rogue #1 - Info

The Rogue Faction works similarly to Augment, with some minor differences.
1. Missions gain points to unlock store
2. Hit hostiles to build reputation (Eclipse Trade Ships), redeem credits for reputation
3. Redeem Decoded a data for Eclipse Directives
4. Armada cargo redeems for either Rogue Credits and Rogue Reputation, or Uncommon Uranium
5. Stella ship used against trade ships in Rogue space, Uncommon Uranium used for upgrading ship.
6. Research Credits required as well as other tokens for some research items.
For more information on the economy of rogue faction, see Rogue #2 - Faction Economy

To unlock and start the Rogue Faction, a player must complete the Stella Research under the Outlaw research tree.

Once the store unlocks, focus on hitting Eclipse Hostiles for Security Codes and only spend the Rogue Credits on the Stella BPs.

Once the Stella is unlocked, then work on Research Credits for the Research Tree. The key is to keep the reputation low as the process in the store will go up as the reputation moves up. See Rogue #9 - Store Costs
