This ship has the ability to skip the warp time and zap straight to systems (later summoning of ships as well). It costs a new material per jump, and the ship doubles as a mining ship for that material as well.
When mining Mycelium Spores:
Maxed Horizon: 20625/h
LVL5 Discovery: 27500/h
With 10of10 on either ship, 800 nodes are cleared in less than 1 min. When Discovery gets leveled up, mining rates go up, so using the Discovery is more efficient, and the added benefit of Jumping to the systems.
